Driver's License Suspension After a DWI Arrest

A DWI arrest will involve the criminal case as well as a civil case involving driver's license suspension. If you have been charged with DWI, you have 15 days to challenge your driver's license suspension.

If you refused the Breathalyzer test, you have 30 days to challenge the suspension of your driver's license. The first and second DWI offenses carry suspension for up to 90 days. Subsequent offenses result in suspension from a year to 10 years. We explore options such as filing administrative petitions and looking into diversion programs.
